Jacob came in bed with us this morning. He lay in between Jared and I for awhile and then he wanted to look out the window with Truman. We got ready and went out for coffee, pop, muffin, and donuts as usual on Saturdays. We drove around and stopped at a garage sale. We got Jacob a Little tikes fort and slide. We had them hold it and went to get the truck. We loaded it on the truck and it was bigger than I thought. Jared said, "do you think the roof will fly off", I said, "No". Shortly down the road I heard beeping of cars behind us. I looked back to see the roof laying in the road. A man picked it up while we turned around and he put it on the floor in the bed of the truck. I also got a Little People Barn with animals and a Little tikes ride on tractor. I cleaned up all the toys when we got home. Jacob played on the tractor while I hosed off the slide. He crawled under the fort and we helped him get up in it and then he slid down the slide. He wanted to do that again. I worked on howing some of the garden. I got out the little pool for Jacob and put on his swimming trunks. He didn't want to sit in the water but loved to splash in it. We went in and had some lunch. Jacob took a nap and Jared and I went outside to plant some flowers. Jared tilled up the area to your left when your coming in the back door. We planted hens and chicks and some violets. Around 5:30 we went to Jeanne and Leonard's house for a visit. We stopped at McDonalds for dinner. They were not home when we got there so we went over the their neighbors house for Jeanne's phone number. He told us she was at the horse and tack aution in St. Louis. We drove there and stayed for a little bit. They got Jacob a horse on a stick that makes noises when you squeeze the ear. We stopped for ice cream on the way home. By the time we got home it was almost time for bed. Jacob was riding around on his car and I blew one of the birthday horns. He turned his head around quick, got off the car and ran all the way to me in the kitchen holding his arm up.
