My niece Mykenzie has been sick and off school all week. She was laying on the floor when we got to Nana's. She seems to be feeling better but was still running a fever. Jacob is always happy to see her. It started sleeting when I left my Moms for work. After work, Jared meet me at Moms house. It was real icy on the roads and we were going to be getting thunder storms. When we got home the power was out. I started lighting candles and Jacob wanted to blow out the match. Jared went outside to take care of the animals. The power came on and I got dinner ready for Jacob in case it went back out. Lightening struck and it looked like fire going by our window. Jared said in the barn he could just see light under the garage door. Tonight Jacob asked me to read to him. I read him several books and then he went over to Daddy so he could read. He found a frog on our dresser and I told him what a frog says. He went down the hall to Daddy and said, "ribbet" while holding the frog.

Personally.... I think it looks a lot like a "self-portrait" which would mean Jared still has camera issues. Not that Eric can talk. He doesn't seem to know how to work ours, either.
I was curious who the "strange" person in the picture was. I am also curious what "sleet" is.

Truman and Jacob are two of the best. What a dog and what a kid. These are two of the best. Notice...I didn't say the best. I also have a few of the best here in Indy. That's another printable picture. Sleet...dont ask...look it up. Michigan gets a little of everything or maybe it should be a lot of everything. Real people live in Mich. LR
Wow! Kimmie at last! Thank you. I am glad to see you smiling! And I do agree with babyr's mommy that it is a self-portrait and that there is still no evidence that Jared can use a camera -- only that Kimmie has shown her cleverness in a new way.
Kimmy...do you have a bulletin board at work for children with their animals. You must take this one to work and post it for ALL to see. His grandma says so. This is a beautiful picture. Grandma R again.
